I want to use djay pro on another computer with all the music and playlist i created but don’t want to copy all the music files to the other computer. I have all the files on a usb stick. The problem is that the usb starts with D:\ and i need to put the files in same folder path as it was in the original computer in order for the playlist to work. Is there a way to do that?
thanks
You can assign a fixed drive letter (e.g. D:) to the USB disk in Windows Disk Management so that it will be consistent every time you insert it.
- Insert your USB drive, then right-click “This PC” > “Manage” > “Disk Management”.
- Locate your USB drive, right click and select “Change drive letter and path”.
- Select a fixed drive letter (e.g. D:) and click “OK”.
- This way, every time you plug in your USB drive, it will be assigned to drive D: without change, and Djay Pro will recognize the music file paths properly.
