Are there any meta data fields that are only stored in the library / specific playlist? I occasionally make notes on prepared playlist tracks but noted DJPro writes all this back to the source audio file. I’d like to capture playlist specific notes, and also ideally have DJPro not keep touching the audio files causing my cloud backup to keep uploading the files / risks of files getting corrupted with the constant edits.
I don’t know if there are corresponding fields, but I think it makes a lot of sense to write such things directly to the file. I can understand the concerns about file corruption etc., but I don’t think this is particularly likely. On the other hand, it would be no less annoying if the library with the corresponding data was corrupted for some reason and the data was then no longer available.
