A) SUMMARY OF ISSUE:

  • nudging the beatgrid on a song… does not seem to carry over when creating a instant double

B) DETAILED STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. set a song in motion, nudge the beatgrid so it moves a small amount… make an instant double of the playing track… and the phase is misaligned

C) EXPECTED RESULTS:

  • nudged track should carry over to the doubled track when making an instant double

D) ACTUAL RESULTS:

  • misaligned phase and out of sync audio when the nudged track is doubled

  • im guessing the doubled track is reproducing the previously anchored position of the original track pre nudging

Can you please capture and share a short screen recording of this @7nz?

i will need to further test this…

as the method i was utilising when this issue arose…was while i was using a midi (maschine sending clock) to ableton link

as i just tried without any syncing options, and it behaved as expected…

perhaps this is an edge case and going off the beaten track with midi syncing, where using midi to link is causing this issue

i’ll see if i can reproduce it again
