Post fader not working with NeuralMix FX active

My FX routing is set to Post-Fader in the mixer options.

When for example I want to enable an Echo on just the vocals (see screenshot), the post-fader fx seems to change to pre-fader. I hear the effect but it gets cut as I pull the fader down.

If I use the same Echo on the full deck, it works fine post-fader.

Would love to see these NeuralMix effects enabled post-fader

Hi @bootlegger, this is a known performance limitation of Neural Mix. The dev team is investigating options, but this is a complex issue. See the linked topic below for more details. Thanks.

Post Fader Echo Vocal - Neural Mix

@maurizio_T I checked with engineering and anything related to Neural Mix is processed first. This is a limitation of the Neural Mix engine. However, if you use the Neural Mix Crossfader in combination with the Neural Mix FX it will be processed Post Crossfader. For example, if you change the FX to Echo Out+ and apply it to Vocals only, then move the Neural Mix Crossfader for Vocals across to the other deck you will get the post fader tail on the Vocal. While looking for a fix for this, I found this thread. I used to use it like this in Rekordbox, but when I try to use it as a post-fader in djay Pro, I end up with a very harsh cut in the volume. I hope they fix it.
