Pre-cueing Djay using The Numark Mixdeck Quad

Using the Numark Mixdeck Quad I would like to know how to send the head phones to the deck that is not playing through the speakers ? The head phone output on the mixer is sending out all audio.

Do you have an iPad or iPhone? If you’re using an iPad, try connecting the Quad via USB + Camera Connection Kit instead of using the designated dock connector.

I was wondering if pre-cueing for the Mixdeck Quad for Djay 2 could be routed through the controller itself, or if I have to use the splitter. Currently when trying to use the controller, all I get is the master volume. My iPad 4 is running iOS 6 v4.8 6.1.4.
