Prevent Mixtour Pro BPM Adjust from changing Split Pad Mode

I found a minor inconvenience in I think the internal logic of the Mixtour. Because I could not get the remapping of the tempo with shift encoder on the active deck working reliably, I went on to using the build in shift - mode - cue/start buttons. If you use this then also the pad mode switches to the corresponding deck. Even if you press shift first; in this case the Mixtour firmware could have prevented the unwanted mode change. Any opinions on this? I will issue a ticket to Reloop for this after I’m sure I’m not missing anything.

Can you please demonstrate this with a short video @Brainbox?

Thanks for the video @Brainbox. I was able to reproduce this on my Mixtour Pro as well. I have moved this to it’s own topic and will pass it onto our internal dev team for consideration. I think this is also worth reporting to the Reloop team as you had originally mentioned. Thanks!

I’ve noticed the same thing! It occasionally leads to live mistakes when you hit the wrong hot cue. Thanks @Brainbox!

Thanks for the additional input @ranchnet

Hi again @Brainbox and @ranchnet. I confirmed with our engineering team that this cannot be solved directly within djay. This would require a firmware update for the hardware. Please report this to the Reloop Support team. Thanks!
