Preview command not working via keyboard attached to iPad

  • Device model : iPad mini 6th gen
  • Version of operating system : iOS 18.7.8
  • Version of djay : 5.6.9
  • Hardware/controllers used : Magic Keyboard bluetooth, but also wired keyboard.

A) SUMMARY OF ISSUE:

  • The Preview (command `) does not work when invoked from the keyboard (does work from controller or on screen) Other commands do work (like spacebar, esc, arrows, setting cue etc)

B) DETAILED STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Have a keyboard connected (either wired or bluetooth)

  2. Use arrow to select a track.

  3. hit command `

  4. nothing happens

C) EXPECTED RESULTS:

  • Preview player should start

D) ACTUAL RESULTS:

  • Nothing happens.

ps also tried with a wired US style keyboard with the ~ ` key upper left corner. But also no Preview player.
