I use the software together with a MacBookPro and the Rane One controller. Everything is up to date. The problem is that the preview of a song runs in with about 20% more volume. This always means that I have to lower my mechanical button on the controller by about a quarter of a turn to pre-listen. If I turn down the volume via the pre-cueing, I can hear the cues of the channels more quietly. I think it is important here to decouple the cue pre-listening from the cue channels of the mixer or to implement an extra volume control for the cue pre-listening that does not affect the cue of the individual channels on the controller. At the moment, when you change the volume in pre-cueing, both the cue of the channels and the cue for pre-listening change at the same time. The problem with this is that if I don’t mechanically lower the volume on the controller by at least 20% to pre-listen to a song, it blows my ears off.

Hi @Toxcis, thanks for the video and details regarding this issue. I have already shared this with the engineering team. I’ll report back here when I have news. Thanks again.
We were able to reproduce this issue and believe it’s a bug with the Rane One controller not with djay Pro.
However, the engineering team has offered an alternative solution to help with your issue. Please try setting the Cue/Mix knob on the Rane One to the middle or 12 o’clock position. This will increase the Pre-Cueing volume slightly so it more closely matches the Preview volume. Thanks.
