I’ve had the system crash every time that I use it. On the bright side it’s a soft crash. In other words the song that’s playing will play all the way to the end, however I’ll get the spinning rainbow ball after opening a folder to find a song, and it will just spin continuously. I don’t even get the option of sending a crash report since the only thing I can do is “force quit” the application and restart it. I’ve been able to switch to a backup system each time, but it’s extremely inconsistent.
I’m using El Capitan for the Mac. I have 16 gigs of Ram. I use a 4 TB external hard drive so my internal hard drive is pretty much empty. I use a Native Instruments Traktor Audio soundcard. It’s an older sound card, but I can’t see that causing the application to freeze just by moving from one folder to another.
It does this when it opens a folder with many music files 500+
the company must do this to work properly!!!
I have the same problem with an external hard drive. I do not know if it works well with ssd …
