Problem with left deck scratching or scrubbing after an hour

The problem started with beatpad 2. After an hour of playing I start to lose the ability to scratch rewind or move forward using the platter. I thought it was an issue with the controller. But I have the same problem using the pioneer ddj sx2 although not as bad. I’ve had the same problem on iPad pro and my MacBook pro. Anyone have any ideas on how to

Im using Sierra 10.12.1 on with my pioneer ddj sx2. It is not as bad on the pioneer but occasionally happens. I will try updating my firmware on the beatpad but not sure why it’s happening on both pioneer and reloop. The pioneers firmware has been updated.
