No problem @Swamp. Thanks for the videos. I have passed these on.
Hi @Slak_Jaw. Any news/feedback from our friends at Reloop?
Hi @Swamp, sorry for the delayed response. We’ve been super busy with the latest djay release. This sounds like a hardware issue and we’ve done most of the software troubleshooting that I can think of. I’ll check again with our engineering team, but in the meantime, I recommend that you contact Reloop Hardware Support directly. Because this is an External Mixer Mode device the crossfader assignments are controlled inside the hardware and not inside the djay software. The distortion issue could also be hardware related.
I have to say that this is a bit of a disappointing reply.
I will contact Reloop myself.
Thanks @Swamp. I will still push this from my end, but I think it will be helpful if you reach out to Reloop as well since this seems to be hardware related. While we have a close working relationship with Reloop, it is a completely separate company from Algoriddim. So, it will be better if you are in direct contact with their support team rather than us acting as middlemen. Hopefully that makes sense.
Hi again @Swamp, I heard back from our engineering team and they agree that this sounds like a hardware defect or failure of some kind. Please reach out to the shop you purchased it from or contact Reloop directly for warranty repair or replacement. Thanks!
@rohit045 you mention that the rmx-95 has known issues with iPad iOS Djay Pro. can you give me some more details? I have contacted Reloop again and they say they never heard it before? It is really horrible. And it is a pity because overall it is a nice mixer.
Thanks
Hey @Swamp, I’m looking into the same setup as you with 2 LC6000 and a RMX 95 controlled by either a Mac or iPad. I’m curious if you’re still having the sound issues?
Thanks!
Hi,
I have found that everything works fine with another iPad.
Strange as my original iPad was working fine with a Reloop beatpad II. And even stranger: if i use my original after the other iPad (without turning of the RMX95) everything works. Only when i start with my original iPad things go wrong.
I did not spend more time on it as I have a working solution now. Overall Rmx-95 with lc6000 is good hardware combination at a very good price
Thanks for the follow up @Swamp
