Greetings everyone…
I’m having the following problem: I have songs on my computer that contain special symbols, for example, “áéíóú,” and DJAY PRO, even though it shows them in the library, won’t play them. Other music applications play them without any problems. Apparently, this error has been reported for quite some time, and I haven’t found a solution.
Windows 11
Djay Pro
Not an elegant solution - but do the tracks play if you use non-accented symbols? Apps like Lexicon and MP3Tag can automate the process of replacing the accented symbols.
I was just checking mp3tag, and it’s a possible solution. I even verified that the problem is with the playlists I created through the Windows Media Player. If I search for a song in a playlist created in Windows Media Player that has symbols like accents, it doesn’t find it. But if I search for it in folders within Djay Pro, the song appears, and obviously with the correct name and accents. So I have to create new playlists.

Hi @Enrique_Fagundez, sorry to hear you’re experiencing this issue.
- What version of djay are you using?
- Can you please share a short video of the issue?
Thanks!
Hello! It’s been a week since my last reply. I’m going to consider this topic completed for now so I can focus on others. However, please feel free to respond and we can definitely revisit this. Thanks!
