Quality Loss In Recording/Playback

All my songs are highest quality 320kbps MP3’s and sound great when listening to it on my iPad music app but when I DJ it seems that the quality in the audio has dropped. I am using split cueing, I watch my gains, but still the recording sounds a tiny bit muddy. Any suggestions on why it’s like this? I’m using an iPad 2 (5.1.1) with djay for iPad V1.5.2.

When using Split-output, the audio is downmixed to two mono tracks, so this explains some loss in quality.

Could you guys fix thats problem? i hear it too. the quality of the songs when using the spliter cable gets really low quality.
