Quantize - Beat Jump.

Today we have Quantize to go over the CUE points.

It would be very convenient to have the same for Skip (Beat Jump) function.

I have a track playing. I want to skip a part of the track. I turn on the Quantize option (4) for Skip.

When I press skip forward 64 then the track skips forward 64 beats not when I pressed the button, but based on the Quantize setting. In my case it is = 4.

This works great with CUE points. You don’t have to hit the beat exactly. You can just press anywhere on the beat, but when the beat ends it will jump to another CUE point.

I would like to have not only 4, but 8 or even 16. So that I can press, and the transition would happen only after four several bars. During this time I can switch to effects and start the transition with effects without thinking that I need to press skip in time.

Please make such an option.

Interesting idea @Zirrex. So essentially a programable delay before the beat jump action is initiated.

Now there is such a delay at CUE transition up to 4 beats.
If I press CUE on the first beat, the transition itself will not be made immediately, but only on the next beat. This is very convenient!
I would like this value to be 8 or even 16.

But here we are talking about new functionality for Skip forward & backward.

You just need to add Quantize to the already ready Skip forward & backward function as it is done for CUE and increase the value to 8 or even 16.
