Is there a way to active one FX and then use another without turning the first FX off/deactivate? I’ve tried messing with settings and I can’t figure out how.

Hi @Stew, it is not currently possible to have 2 Instant FX running at the same time on the same deck. However, you can have 1 Instant FX and also Manual FX or Pad FX running at the same time. I hope that helps!

Unfortunately manual fx doesn’t work with external. Only the neural mix modes and 1 instant fx can work together.
Well, perhaps you could switch to 4 Deck Mode and do an Instant Double of your active song to Deck 3 or 4 and then apply a different Instant FX to the same song on the Deck 3 or 4.
Good suggestion but hard to do when I echo out a vocal and apply an effect 4 bars later or sooner to the instrument while mixing in the other track. I would do it in stem split mode but switching to it with the brief sound cutout that happens when applying that is a no go. VDJ has some good effects for stems that work very well together.
