RANE 72mkII - switching performance pad modes requires holding SHIFT

I just exchanged my Pioneer DJM-S11 with the Rane 72mkII.

I connected the 72 with my iPad pro, Djay shows me this message:
switching performance pad modes requires holding SHIFT while selecting the mode to access cue points and other djay functionality

Is there a way to make the modes works without holding SHIFT as this is not really user friendly when performing a DJ set.
