RANE One MKII platter stop/start time inconsistency

MacBook Pro 14” M2 Max
Djay 5.5.1
Rane one mkII most recent firmwares
macOS Tahoe 26.1

A) SUMMARY OF ISSUE:

The platter stop/stop time is intermittently working then not working. Even with the dial maxed out, one time you hit the stop button and it will delay, like shutting off a turn table. The next time you hit stop it will stop immediately.

B) DETAILED STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
Hit play. Adjust the stop time then hit stop. Works sometimes. Works always on the Performer. I checked Serato thinking it was a hardware issue. It isn’t.

C) EXPECTED RESULTS:
Platter should slow to a stop depending on how much you turn the dial.

D) ACTUAL RESULTS:
Slowly comes to a stop one time. The next time you hit stop it comes to a dead stop.

Hi @jmoak311, thanks for the details about your setup and the issue. Can you please also share a short video of this? Thanks!

Thanks for the videos @jmoak311. This definitely clarifies things. I’ll share this with our hardware team and get back to you when I have more news. Was this working as expected in an earlier djay or earlier firmware version or has it always been like this? Thanks!

I just got the Rane one mkII yesterday. All have the most recent updates. Once I realized the flx10 was an internal mixer I retuned it. Hardware fx are a must for me (plus a few other Rane hardware features that I’ve grown accustomed to). This doesn’t happen on the Performer.

Okay, thanks for the additional info @jmoak311

Are you using the (built-in) MIDI mapping or a custom edit?

Built in. Haven’t touched anything. Everything else seems to be on point but will accept any recommendations.

Okay great. Thanks again!
