Rane Performer not working with Looper Pack

Are we working on the Looper Pack in Djay Pro to work with the Rane Performer?
I really love my DJay Pro software and I waited until there was acknowledgment that it worked with the Rane Performer…overall it works, but my Looper within the software wont play. Also would the Pioneer flx10 work better…ie will the Looper Pack play?

Hi @smackdcw,

  1. Please make sure that the Sampler Level of the PERFORMER is turned up. This controls the volume level of djay’s Sampler AND Looper.

  2. Also, if you would like to custom MIDI map one of your Performance Pad modes to control some of the Looper On/Off buttons, I can provide you with some guidance.

Summary of the issue:

BTY …Firmware for the Rane is up to date.
I have a problem with the VOLUME of the Looper Pack while using the Rane Performer. The Looper Pack are so low that they are not effective in my mixes. My other mixers (Pioneer) I have to scale down the volume when using the Software Looper Pack…is there something Im doing wrong?

Hi @smackdcw, I’ve merged your new topic with this existing one.

  1. Please refer to the image above and confirm that the Sampler Volume is turned up on the RANE Performer.
  2. Please also check the onscreen Looper Master Volume slider at the bottom and the individual channel volumes for each Looper Section.

Can I hijack this thread a little and ask the guys their thoughts on the Performer/DJay Pro combo? I started another thread some time ago asking about this, but got no traction on it.

I’m mad keen on buying the Performer, but don’t want to drop 2K on it before knowing all I can. I’m a house DJ who tends to use 3 decks and the Looper.
