  • Hardware firmware version: 5.2.0

A) SUMMARY OF ISSUE:

  • When previewing a track, no audio is heard through headphones

B) DETAILED STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Find song in library

  2. click to preview

  3. song shows as playing

  4. no sound heard in headphones

C) EXPECTED RESULTS:

  • Hear preview of song in headphones

D) ACTUAL RESULTS:

  • No sound in headphones although visual indication is that song is actively playing in preview

Hi @gizmo, Library Preview is not supported on this device as it is an External Mixer Mode only device and does not provide the internal circuitry necessary for the Library Preview function in djay.

Unfortunately it’s a hardware limitation and beyond our control.

You can always listen to tracks by loading them to a deck and using the standard cue system, as DJs have been doing for many decades.

  • When used standalone, the user of the system one is able to preview tracks in headphones by tapping the album art from the library view. when connected to djay, this doesnt appear to be possible

B) DETAILED STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. open browse to a tracklist

  2. tap album artwork

C) EXPECTED RESULTS:

  • headphone cue of track

D) ACTUAL RESULTS:

  • nothing
