Hi,
Is there any way to re-analyze imported tracks (local files) on Djay Pro for Windows?
I’ve imported about 1200 tracks. All the within the range of about 140 - 180 bpm.
Now about half of the tracks have been analyzed at 70-90 bpm, which is not correct.
Guess I had to apply a tempo range in the analyze settings.
Any way I can fix this without manually doing it on each single file?
Analyzing them again with tempo range enables doesn’t do anything.
Hi @bootlegger, click on the drop-down menu at the top of a playlist and select Analyze Songs. If you need to do this for your entire library, you can create a temporary playlist and add all of your songs to it.
That’s exactly what I do. It starts analyzing again for a few seconds. (Way shorter compared to the initial analyzing take. It seems to include all tracks because there’s a progress bar that shows them all.)
But nothing changes, even though I’ve set a fixed range (108-215) that should correct the bpm:
About 600 of the 1200 songs get analyzed at the wrong bpm (/2)
(And these are not rhythmically challenging songs, all straight four to the floor.)
Update:
It seems to work now.
Weird thing is that after closing and restarting Djay Pro, all settings were back to default.
Literally every setting from the menu.
Haven’t changed anything, after a couple of reboots it seems re-analyze properly and also saves the settings from the menu.
Still not too confident about switching to Djay Pro though…
