YOUR QUESTION:

  1. I have songs that I’ve analyzed using Djay Pro. Afterwards, I ran Mixed in Key with the Serato option for the cue points. How do I reanalyze the files so Djay Pro will import the created cue points from Mixed in Key? Would removing from my collection work? Is there another way? I don’t mind if it overwrites my manual cue points.

Hi @phntsm, djay stores its own cue data in the djayMediaLibrary database and that database takes priority over embedded MIK Serato Markers2 tag cue points. This means the embedded tags will only load for tracks djay encounters fresh — if djay already has a database entry for a track (even a blank one from analysis), the embedded tags won’t override it. You could try backing up your djayMediaLibrary database to the cloud or an external drive then delete it. This will force djay to start with an empty database. Please note that in addition to clearing the djay cue points, you will also lose saved loops, My Collection playlists, history and Queue.

Hello! It’s been a week since my last reply. I’m going to consider this topic completed for now so I can focus on others. However, please feel free to respond and we can definitely revisit this. Thanks!
