Hoping someone can help me with this recent, major audio issue I’ve been having with Djay Pro 2 and my Pioneer DDJ-SB3.
Recently I have been experiencing an issue where I am losing audio completely in the middle of a mix. Obviously this is very frustrating, and I will need to find a solution soon. I have been using Pioneer hardware with Algoriddim software for awhile now and otherwise love it. Would hate to give it up.
I am using a Pioneer DDJ-SB3 controller (less than 1 year old), DJay Pro 2 (updated version), Using a Macbook Pro running macOS Catalina 10.15.4 (latest). My firmware for my drivers and controllers are updated. Sometimes (but not always) I am using an external Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 audio interface to capture and stream my sets online, via another laptop.
The issues: Occasionally during mixes, I end up losing my audio unexpectedly, although the audio signal lights on my midi controller continue to respond to the audio. It usually happens min. 30 mins into a mix. Also, occasionally (less often) some of my buttons also lose functionality.
I am hoping there is an update that can address this, or some way I can troubleshoot. As mentioned, I love the software and hardware and would really hate to give it up for this issue. Hoping to find a solution ASAP.
