Your question:
Would love any suggestions on maybe a recording device I can look into getting for recording sets while using a streaming service.!! thank you for your time!

If you have a laptop or pc try this

Behringer U-CONTROL UCA222 Ultra-Low Latency 2 In/2 Out USB Audio Interface with Digital Output, Compatible with PC and Mac, Red

I use it with audacity (free) and can record using SoundCloud, Tidal etc

If you’re using an iPhone or iPad, you can do it without any additional devices by simply using screen recording. Then open the recording in iMovie, set the start and end points of your mix and export the audio track - done!

Recording from streaming services is not permitted. It’s against the terms & conditions of the service.

There is several ways to record your dj-set

Best way is to use Djay internal Recording option.

Otherwise there is some other options;

Soundcard:
iRig Stream, not to expensive, works like a charm and you connect it to via USB to your laptop and RCA to your mixer.

Hardware
Reloop Tape 2 is a very reliable recording device, highly recommend it.

Software
Audacity, it is free and has everything you’ll need.

A reputable audio interface is probably your best bet. The components are designed to process audio at much better sound quality than what most people are using including Screen recordits because the sound cards on moZoom, Focusrite, Tascam, and Presonus make some good ones and they really arent that expensive. Happy recording! #hvychkn
