Recording ‘Could not load track’

  • Device model (e.g. 2020 iPad Air 4th Gen): iPhone 16
  • Version of operating system (e.g. macOS 14.4.1): iOS 18.5 (newest)
  • Version of djay (e.g. 5.1.2): 5.3.3
  • Hardware/controllers used (e.g. Reloop Mixon 8 Pro): Hercules Inpulse 500

Summary of the issue:
While recording everything serms fine, but when I want to play the recording afterwards I get the error ‘Could not load track’. I tried to load it in to a different music player but there I have the same issue.
It doesn’t happen always, but just sometimes. Which really sucks if you recorded for hours and afterwards you find out it was a waste of time.

How to reproduce the issue:
No idea, just record and listen back I guess?

Hi @W3S, welcome to the Community! It sounds to me like you are sometimes forgetting to Stop your recording before closing djay. This can result in a corrupted recording. You may however, be able to use a 3rd party software like VLC Player to repair your corrupted recordings. I hope that helps!
