you can record by hitting the red record button.
After stopping your record you can export the file by following this guide:

If your using your own music purchased or imported onto your iPad via iTunes you can record directly on the iPad in the app to your iPad storage.
I’ve not looked into what you can do with that said file, I’m sure if I remember correctly you could upload your mix to SoundCloud.
I’ve not looked at that feature for a while as I use Spotify, & using Spotify disables record feature in the app.
