Recording my iPad Djay mix via the PC. Problem is that something is picking up every noise in the room & not just music from the cable. If I speak it records and if I use any mixing device that noise is picked up too.

Unfortunately hasn’t worked. Seems like microphone has to be on/ volume up to record. Microphone off absolutely nothing records.
Anyone share their set up?
I am running cables from pioneer wego mixer to main speaker & then with a splitter a cable to the PC connecting to the headphone or microphone jack.
