Recordings quality

If recording a mashup in Djay pro using tracks downloaded from iTunes will the recording quality be good enough to play on a club system? My settings are set to record as WAV but I notice the recordings are slightly quieter than the originals.
This is on an iPad 2025

Hi @Jay19831, welcome to the Community! It depends on the quality of the tracks downloaded from iTunes. Quality and volume are two different things though. If you’re not happy with the output volume from djay, you could try setting your Output Headroom in the djay Settings>Sound to None.

You could also consider running your tracks through a 3rd party software like Platinum Notes to normalize the output of your tracks.

To be fair I have no issue with the volume of recordings as I can tweak them higher on the trim but was just wondering if the processing of the limiter or auto gain settings would have any effect on the overall quality of the songs used?
I load the songs in and leave them at the levels given and just mainly play with the stems function.

The Autogain and Limiter should prevent any clipping of the audio signal.
