This new Mac feature is great, but I can’t access my related tracks on the iPad.
Suggestion: maybe if you’d move this concept into the Match section and make the ‘Matching songs’ list switchable to e.g. ‘Related’ or ‘Manual’ (as opposed to e.g. Tidal) it would be identical for both platforms. Using the Tracks → […] / ‘more’ menu on iPad you could add new tracks to the related list for example.
Any other way to access the related tracks would be good too, as long as there is a way…
This is definitely the the type of feedback our teams are looking for right now. I will be passing this along to our dev team next for further consideration.
Please consider adding the related tracks feature to the IOS version of Djay. If it can be done on the MacOS surely there must be a way to create a page in the library view for related tracks on IOS. This is quiet a powerful feature for the library and will surely be welcomed by all IOS users too.
If you transfer your djay media library from your Mac to ios via icloud your related track info will transfer along with all the other data.
It’s not the slickest of solutions currently but it does work
I get it and i like the suggestion. You just can’t do it on ios at the moment. I’m offering a solution to make it work in the meantime.
In the picture the top 3 tracks would not normally appear in match as they are in a different key but because they are related on my Mac then transferred to my ios they show up and at the top of the list.
Hi @Miley, please use search before creating new topics. I have merged your new topic with this existing one. You can vote for this suggestion at the top left of this page to show your support for adding this feature. Thanks!
