Hi everyone,

I’m hoping someone in the community can shed some light on an issue I’m experiencing with the “Releasing the needle in REL mode” feature in the latest djay Pro version (5.3.1).

In version 5.3.1, I’m finding this feature to be extremely inaccurate. When I drop the needle, the playback position in the track is often significantly off from where I intended it to be. It makes precise cueing or skipping sections very difficult.

I’ve actually tested this functionality with other well-known DJ software, and it works as expected there – the needle drop accurately reflects the position in the track. This leads me to believe the issue might be specific to this version of djay Pro.

Has anyone else encountered this problem? Is there a setting I might be overlooking, or is this a potential bug in the current version? Any insights or workarounds the community might have would be greatly appreciated. It’s a feature I rely on quite a bit, and its current inaccuracy is impacting my workflow.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi, unfortunately I was unable to upload the video.I can assure you that this problem is in version 5.3.1 and not in version 5.3.0

Hi @Cristian_Listo, if your video is larger than 200MB, you’ll need to upload it to your Google Drive/Dropbox, enable sharing permissions, then share a link to the file here. Thanks!

Hello! It’s been a week since my last reply. I’m going to consider this topic completed for now so I can focus on others. However, please feel free to respond and we can definitely revisit this. Thanks!
