Hi,
Jst got the MXON 4, but the pad LEDS are so bright that in low light they destroy my ability to read the front panel.
I have had trouble getting the LED buttons to change intensity, but the pads dont seem to have an option for intensity. Even in mid mapping I cant seem to change the advanced options.
Beyond stickers on top of the pads, or painting the leds inside the unit (I have dome this on other gear before) - any suggestions?
thanks in advance

YOUR QUESTION / SUGGESTION / FEEDBACK:
Hi @WarmFire, I’m currently on vacation so I can’t share exact screenshots. However, I’m pretty sure in the MIDI Mapping output section you can change the LED color and intensity by selecting different numerical values for the LED output. This will likely be a fair bit of trial and error, but it should be possible.
hey thanks for this. I had been trying to use those controls but they never got applied. Today I figured out that I need to click a different value box before clicking done, or the changes won’t be saved.
There is still the main issue tho, when I select one of the pad functions, eg loop roll, all the pads go bright yellow/green (I cant tell which as I am a bit colourblind). So if there was a way to change the default colour each pad performance mode uses, that would solve my problem. any ideas? thanks again
You’re welcome @WarmFire. Unfortunately, you will need to adjust the output LED color/intensity for each performance pad button and for each performance pad mode. There is no global adjustment for this.
thank you.
do you know how I access the pad setting for all 8 pads when I have pressed the loop roll button above the pads? it automatically loads a bright colour. when I press the pad I can access that pad setting, but it doesn’t affect the default 8 pads being bright from the performance mode.
You’re welcome. You first need to select the pad mode (the small buttons above the main pads). Then you need to press each of the 8 pads individually and set the LED outputs for each one.
