Reloop Mixtour Pro and Phase DJ essential (wireless mode)

I switched from Traktor Pro to Algoriddim djay because I needed to use Phase in wireless (HID) mode and have a mixer/controller with built-in pads and an effects section (all-in-one), making it easy to transport and set up.

My current setup is:

Reloop Mixtour Pro (latest firmware update)

Phase DJ Essential (latest firmware update)

Reloop RP7000 MKII

Algoriddim djay Pro 5.2.9

MacBook Air i5, 8GB RAM (updated to macOS 12.7.6)

The two main issues, which did not occur with other softwares and platforms using a same setup, are:

  1. BPM fluctuations during playback with Phase in HID mode. When I recalibrate Phase (on spot), the BPM usually returns to normal, but with djay Pro, this does not work.

  2. Noise/distortion when releasing the record after scratching or mixing. When I release the record after a mix or a scratch, the software produces an unusual sound before stabilizing playback. This did not happen with other softwares using the same setup.

Hello! It’s been a week since my last reply. I’m going to consider this topic completed for now so I can focus on others. However, please feel free to respond and we can definitely revisit this. Thanks!

Hi Slak, sorry for the late reply. I wasn’t able yet to do a video that shows the problem.
Thank you. Paolo

Hi @paolofabbrimusic, no problem. Does that mean the issue is no longer occurring or you just haven’t had a chance to record a video of it? If you’re still having the issue, please capture and share a video so we can troubleshoot things further. Thanks!
