There is a cool feature built into the Reloop Mixtour Pro whereby if you tap a second time on a mode button it also switches the deck panels to the relevant mode ie cue points or saved loops etc. Unfortunately it also changes the centre panel to the Mix panel.
So, if you have waveforms visible as I do (because I don’t need to see the mixer panel… I have all that in front of me on the Mixtour Pro) then every time I switch mode using the double tap I have to switch the centre panel back to waveform view manually, which defeats the usefulness of the double tap.
Is there a way to configure or stop that behaviour? If not, seems like a bug as I can’t see how that could be desirable behaviour for anyone.
HI @rishi, thanks for the details about your issue. Can you please also share the full details about your setup?
Device Model (ex. 2020 iPad Air 4th Gen): Version of operating system (ex. iOS 17.3.1): Version of djay (ex. 5.1.3): Hardware/controllers used (ex. Reloop Ready): Hardware Firmware Version (ex. 2.7):
Also, which View Mode are you using when you experience this issue (ex. Hardware Mode, Classic, Pro, etc.)?
EDIT: I was able to replicate this only in Classic View mode. This does seem like unexpected behavior and I have passed this onto the engineering team for further review. I the meantime, if you switch to Hardware Mode or Pro Mode this should eliminate the issue. I hope that helps!
Device Model iPad Pro 11 inch m4: Version of operating system 18.3: Version of djay 5.2.8: Hardware/controllers used Reloop Mixtour Pro: Hardware Firmware Version How do I confirm this?:
I mostly use classic mode.
Hardware mode 2 deck seems to work well, but hardware 4 deck mode does not.
I hadn’t tried that with the reloop mixtour pro, and i think it could work for me. I like the minimised cross fader and top section with beat jump and selected FX info.
