In the djay Settings>Sound what are your Audio Limiter and Output Headroom settings?
If you also connect the Mixtour Pro to a power adapter, do you experience the same issue? From your video it looks like you are powering the Mixtour off your iPad internal battery.
Are you using any adapters or hubs between your Mixtour and the iPad?
However, the issue persists even when I am not using DJAY. It happens when I just play music with Spotify using the Reloop Mixtour Pro as a sound card.
I replaced every cable including RCA to the amp and tried with and without power and using Apple USB C cables.
The weird thing is that it only seems to happen on my Cambridge Audio amp and then only with the Mixtour volume knob.
I can’t replicate the issue on other amps ie my Adam powered monitors and a Bose speaker. My Cambridge audio amp works fine with any other source.
The knob itself (ie unit off, no cables) makes a high pitched noise when turned in the high region (not lower down ie only where the crackling occurs). Similar knobs like cue, mix knobs don’t make this sound.
You’re welcome @rishi. Sounds like it’s probably a hardware issue then. I’d reach out to Reloop support or the retailer you purchased from. Please report back on how that goes. Thanks!
