REV7 FX - triggers both hardware and software FX

I’m using Pioneer REV7 with latest firmware. I’m using Djay Pro AI on iphone so iOS.

When i trigger the FX, it triggers both the REV7 internal Fx and the Djay pro software FX. Is there a way to decouple them? or maybe set the software FX to 0 depth or something?

Thanks

Hi @Mrbigmouthbeats, when creating new topics, please do not forget to answer the questions in our template with specific details about your setup not just “iPad” or “Latest Version”.

Device Model (ex. 2020 iPad Air 4th Gen):
Version of operating system (ex. iOS 17.3.1):
Version of djay (ex. 5.1.3):
Hardware/controllers used (ex. Reloop Ready):
Hardware Firmware Version (ex. 2.7):

  1. Are you using the built-in REV7 MIDI mapping or a custom edit?
  2. Please share a screenshot of your djay Settings>Audio Devices when your REV7 is connected to your iPhone.
  3. Are you sure that the djay software FX are being added on top of the REV7 hardware FX or are they just showing a visual representation of what is happening on the hardware? Maybe you can capture and share a short video of the behavior for review? Thanks!
