REV7 Waveform Display Missing Beatgrid Lines

Hello,

Setup used:

  • Pioneer REV7 (firmware updated)

  • MacBook Air M4

  • macOS Tahoe

I have a REV7 controller, and I’ve noticed something that seems inconsistent. On the REV7 screen where the waveforms are displayed, the beatgrid guide lines are not appearing the same way they do in the software.

In the software, I can clearly see the beatgrid lines aligned with the track, but on the REV7 screen, those guide lines are either missing or not displayed in the same way.

Could you please let me know if there is a setting or configuration that enables the beatgrid guide lines to appear on the REV7 screen?

  1. Can you please share a photo or short video?
  2. What version of djay are you using?

I’m attaching a photo for reference. As you can see, the waveform is displayed on the REV7 screen, however, the beatgrid lines are not present.

I am currently using the latest version of djay Pro.

Please let me know if this is expected behavior or if there is any setting I should adjust.

Thanks @kadive_kadive, I don’t have access to a REV7 to confirm for myself, but I’ve passed this onto our hardware team for review.

That’s true. I use Djay PRO with REV7

Hi @kadive_kadive, our hardware team was also able to reproduce this and they are investigating further. I’ll share more news when I have it.
