RMX1000 Style software FX / Drum Machine

Hey djay community & Algoriddim team,

I think many of us DJs would love to see djay take the next big step in creative performance features. Right now, djay is amazing at mixing, stems, and effects — but what about giving us a software version of something like the Pioneer RMX1000, directly inside djay?

:backhand_index_pointing_right: The idea:

  • A built-in remix / drum machine module for buildups, rolls, risers, fills, for live performance.

  • Fully MIDI addressable, so we can map it to any controller.

  • With cueing support, so we can preview the sequence or effect in headphones before unleashing it live.

  • Sync with BPM/quantization: effects and drum patterns always stay locked to the track tempo.

  • Macro FX mode: similar to Smart CFX, but expanded into real build-up performance tools.

  • Designed for buildups and transitions — think rolls, snares, claps, risers, crashes, even custom samples.

:backhand_index_pointing_right: Why this matters:

  • It makes djay a true performance instrument, and a profesional DJ tool.

  • DJs wouldn’t need to rely on external hardware like the RMX1000, drum pads, or extra gear.

  • It keeps everything inside the djay ecosystem, making live sets more powerful, fun and inovative.

  • This would open up next-level creativity for both casual DJs and professionals, and it fits perfectly with djay’s vision of being innovative and accessible.

This is the kind of feature that can elevate live sets, inspire new creativity, and attract even more DJs to djay.

If you’d love to see this, smash that vote button and drop your support below. Let’s show Algoriddim that the community is ready for the next big leap in DJ performance. :raising_hands:

Let’s push djay forward together!

Thanks for the suggestion @Gabi0110. Interesting idea. I have forwarded this to the dev team for consideration. Thanks!

I dunno about all that, but it would be nice to have a sequencer for the sampler or be able to load your own loops into the looper. Even if you needed to do some prep work like indicate the number of bars it is so it’s stretched appropriately.
