Made in djay 5.5.2 macOS: download
Used ‘Generic’ driver in hardware’s settings, but should work with default ‘Vendor’ setting (see manual)
Save in /Users/YOURNAME/Music/djay/MIDI Mappings/DJ-202.djayMidiMapping
Caveats:
- Due to my Crossfader being broken, you must map it yourself (not hard)
- Not all lights function as toggle lights (FX Select 1 2 and 3, Key Lock, Vinyl Slip), if you find a way please let me know
- Tempo Slider ‘Range’ [SHIFT + Key Lock] can’t be mapped to the same setting in the app’s UI, so it’s been left unmapped
- Sort library by BPM and Sort library by Song Name [SHIFT + LOAD] can’t be mapped to djay, so it’s been mapped to Toggle Expanded Library View and Preview Selected Track, respectively
- Pad Modes SAMPLER, CUE LOOP and SLICER have been replaced (see below). For secondary Pad sections normally accessed by holding SHIFT and the Pad Mode (i.e.: SHIFT + HOT CUE for CUE LOOP] you must hold Shift to interact with the Pads while being in the selected primary mode (i.e.: Select HOT CUE without Shift, but use SHIFT with the individual pads):
- CUE LOOP works for deleting CUE slots (i.e.: SHIFT + CUE 1-8). See profile settings for additional info
- The SLICER is replaced by the Instant FX 1-8. See profile settings for additional info
- The SAMPLER is replaced by Neural Mix 4ch (Vocals, Harmonics, Bass, Drums), effectively mimicking Serato. See profile settings for additional info
**** [PARAM -] toggles Mixer EQ to Neural Mix EQ (Vocals, Instrumental, Drums)
**** [PARAM +] toggles Neural Mix Echo on Mute/Solo
Additional notes:
- [SHIFT + Tempo Slider] has been mapped to Key slider
- FX BEATS [SHIFT + FX LEVEL] has been mapped to FX 2’s Parameter setting
- STUTTER [SHIFT + PLAY/PAUSE] has been mapped to Brake Transition FX
- Effective troubleshooting requires you to expand the Advanced Control Options at the bottom of the MIDI mapping window, as some knobs required specific changes to how the MIDI input is read
