Thanks for the follow up and additional feedback @lthreezer0
Hi Slak_Jaw,
is there any feedback from the team? At least a simple stop function shouldn’t be such a big thing. I’m using (and I think I’m not the only one using the sampler that way) the sampler to have fast access to songs which can last up several minutes (e.g. carnival march) and I need to interrupt once the formation marched in… stop function would be highly appreciated.
Best regards,
Steffen
Hi @WIng2005, thanks for the follow up. We don’t have any news to share regarding this, but I will share your comment with the devs. Thanks!
That’s no good news cause this forces to use a different DJ-SW for all who work with the sampler like I do. I tested VDJ and Recordbox… both have this feature implemented since years… ![]()
The team is aware of user demand for this, but I don’t have any more news to share other than that. Sorry.
I would like to suggest that the one shot samples are beat matched/time stretched to be in sync with the master deck. For instance if I record a sample of a vocal phrase at 120bpm that is 1 bar long and later want to play the sample when my tracks are playing at140bpm, the one shot no longer fits in to the mix perfectly.
Thanks for the additional input @SamJam. I’ve shared this with the devs.
