Yes this has also been mentioned in another recent thread, and it’s one of the first things I noticed about DJay when I installed it here.

This is a screen shoot in 4k minimize and full screen.
As you can see the Djay Pro 5 in Fullscreen doesn’t scale properly.
I can confirm that on a Macbook too. When I drag Djay to my secondary monitor (3440x1440) and set it to full screen, the UI enlarges so over the top that my 90-year-old grandma could still see it from 5 meters away. That’s pretty uncool because it doesn’t utilize the space of the monitor. It’s like blowing up an iPad to 34 inches. Something really needs to be done about that.
Hi everyone. It sounds like potentially different issues happening on Windows and Mac. The team is looking into the low resolution icons issue on macOS.
@Melbourne, the engineering team has asked me to clarify your specific issue.
- Is the problem that djay only scales up to your monitor resolution when it’s set to half screen?
- Then the resolution drops when set to full screen mode?
- Is the drop in resolution applied to the entire djay screen or only to certain sections?

I would say that the whole app, but the Grid editor, Player section and the neural mix is definitely not scaling properly in full screen. Hope this helps out.
Here are 2 screenshots on a 3440x1440 resolution (Macbook). The upper one shows fullscreen. Imagine that on a 34" - 30cm distance from your eyes. 
With an ultra wide screen like that, obviously the layout of the interface is not going to match the shape of the screen. Yes there’s certainly an issue with the low resolution bitmap elements looking blurry on larger screens, but software like this that replicates real life hardware (skeuomorphic) can’t just rearrange itself to fit all screen shapes.
How would you expect it to look in the first example?
Serato, Mixxx or Traktor get it right, just to name a few examples. It’s not always “pretty”, but it scales correctly. The main benefit is that you can see a lot of the library.
Could you post some example pics of how those apps look, please?
What about Rekordbox?
VirtualDJ I imagine would not be an issue as it uses vector graphics and of course can be skinned (skins can be made to suit any monitor).

I will not install all DJ Apps on my computer to make screenshots. I used Mixxx and Traktor a lot and it was no problem with the ultrawide display. I can show a screenshot from the free version of Serato of course (2nd pic) - and as a comparison a screenshot of a similar screen-setting in DJAY (1st pic) - which is okayish but still has very BIG elements. And thats the problem: some elements like buttons or the crossfader (if visible) get very large when going to fullscreen.
And about Rekordbox: I dont know, I dont use EVERY DJ-Software. 
After almost a year since this request/bug report and many others to no avail there is no response or resolution to the problems/request. (windows version)

Hi @Melbourne, thanks for continuing to push the original topic plus the others in your list. I believe part of the issue here is, in the past, there have been several suggestions made in a single topic. This makes it challenging to gauge user demand for individual suggestions and to keep track of them independently. I believe the best path forward, is for us to ensure there is a single topic for each item in your list. Then users can upvote them individually and I can push each of them internally with our engineering and dev teams to make sure nothing slips through the cracks.
- When you say “doesn’t scale properly”, can you please clarify what you are asking for:
a. Do you want the decks area to be higher resolution when scaled up (i.e. less pixelated)
b. Or do you want the decks area to scale up differently without keeping its aspect ratio, so that the media library gets more vertical room as the window size increases?
c. Currently the decks UI (above the media library) has a fixed aspect ratio and so it is scaled up with increased window sizes, making the media library shrink vertically. This is currently expected behavior on Mac and Windows, but we understand this may not be ideal for large screen sizes. The challenge for improving this is determining the best way for each djay View Mode configuration to scale up without keeping the aspect ratio, i.e. decide which parts can get stretched wider by keeping their height. When showing just horizontal waveforms it’s pretty easy as you could just make them wider, but, for example, when showing vinyl or jog wheels with vertical waveforms it’s less clear. Long story short, this isn’t a simple fix and the team is still investigating options for this. - Can you please link the Community topic for “reading meta-data of flac files” so we can continue the discussion there? If one doesn’t exist, please create a new one and @Slak_Jaw tag me in your post.

- Please note that the Windows version of djay uses the same sequencer and Looper functionality and content library as the macOS version. If we’ve missed something specific, please create a new topic highlighting the specifics.
- Match in My Collection (which can include local files) has been added to the Windows version.

To answer your post
- (b) I was more thinking on the lines of not trying to make or keep it touch centric and make it more control base were the suggestion of scaling you mention in (c) is neither here nor there because it is more a representation of buttons on the controller that matter the most. You can’t DJ a set if you cannot see your library. That is a very important part of DJing.

- Yes, that’s what was listed but it not working for me or maybe I have a misunderstanding of how this feature works. But I will try again to see if I am doing something wrong.
I have been waiting since 2017 for OS matching features. What’s another seven years, not trying to be an A…hole but this is simple just my reality with Djay Pro.
