YOUR QUESTION:
I have a DJM-S11 which I really Love and has been my daily rider for a while now. I have been hoping that it will get full support from Djay Pro but it doesnt look like it will happen because of Pioneer DJ and their reluctance to expose the hardware fully for other companies.
Since Djay now supports the Rane Mixers, I was thinking about selling my S11 and going for a Rane 72 MK 2. Does anyone have any experience using the Rane 72 with DJay Pro? Are all features on the mixer fully supported? Should i make the jump?
FYI : I have tried so many times to map the S11 to Djay pro the way i want but it just doesnt feel the same without screen support, the ability to have the Auto_Tempo, multiple Pad Mode support etc
which one of my device should I “hold off”?, you dont need to tell me when… im desperate…

Roland Dj 707M, Hercules P32
I own several Rane products past and present, I have both the Rane 70 A-Trak version, Rane Performer and the Rane 72mk2 all work GREAT with DJay Pro, I would say if you can get the Rane 72mk2 and keep the S11 you will have that option of using different dj software, as of what I read on this forum DJay is offering a solid software that is compliant with dj hardware of all types from Reloop Buddy, Reloop Ready, several Pioneer/AlphaTheta controllers, Hercules DJ, Vestax ( now that is saying alot ), and several other manufactures. As dj’s we have our “favorite what works best tool of choice”, then we have that " one that is the swiss army knife " of making things happen. The S11 paired with the Pioneer PLX CRSS 12 is that platform of analog and digital in my opinion. But yes the Rane 72mk2 is a must have to add to your collection of tools to keep the dancefloor packed
