Hi @bigplasticc, welcome to the Community! Sorry to hear you’re experiencing this issue. Can you please be specific with which settings are not being retained after rebooting djay? Thanks!

Entirely vanilla, first thing to come up is always “Welcome to djay pro, enjoy access to 10,000+ songs and effects”

@bigplasticc have you created a djay account and signed up for a Pro subscription?

Yes. I have the year subscription
.

Thanks for confirming your subscription.

Did you create a djay account and are you logged in?

I created the djay account and am the only one who is signed in

Thanks for confirming @bigplasticc. This definitely sounds like unexpected behavior. Can you please share a screenshot of the welcome screen you are seeing?

Can you please also share a screenshot of your djay Settings showing “My djay” at the top and the “Version” at the bottom? Thanks!

Got the number and the text completely wrong lol, 10,000 seemed right in my memory for some reason

Very strange. Thanks for the screenshots @bigplasticc. Are you using a Chromebook by chance?

My system information has says the system model is a HP Laptop 15-ef1xxx. I bought It off a friend but it was factory reset when I got it

Okay, thanks for the additional info. You could try a fresh djay installation to see if that clears up the issue. I suggest that you backup your djay Media Library database and any custom MIDI mappings, then uninstall djay, reboot your device, and reinstall the latest version of djay from the official Microsoft App Store.

  1. You can find the files above in the following location: https://help.algoriddim.com/hc/en-us/articles/360014912131-Where-does-djay-Pro-store-cue-points-and-other-metadata
  2. Copy the files to a new location or external drive before uninstalling djay.
  3. Make sure you download the latest djay version from the official Microsoft App Store.
  4. After reinstallation, you can simply copy these files back to their original locations to maintain your Hot Cues, Saved Loops, My Collection Playlists, History and Queue.
  5. Launch djay and sign into your Algoriddim djay account using the same email and password from before.
