Simplify Tempo change with SYNC'd decks logic

Based on discussion with @Slak_Jaw and @Nubium I am opening this topic to suggest a simplified tempo sync logic.

Currently, for tempo changes to work on decks with the SYNC button on the following conditions are required to be met:

  1. SYNC must be on
  2. Fader must be up on master deck
  3. Master deck must be playing
  4. Cross fader must not be all the way to opposite side

IMO this is all unnecessary additional logic beyond the SYNC button. I think the logic should simply be…

SYNC tempo changes on all decks with SYNC ON

Fader position, deck playing, xfader position are all irrelevant. It feels like the logic is trying to be smart but ends up being confusing.

If I want individual tempo change then I just turn SYNC button off.

Pitch Bend is a separate issue, where you need to be able to temporarily change a sync’d tracks tempo when the grid is slightly out.

Definitely keep it simple. All of the software’s seem to be simpler in that way.

Thanks for the suggestion @rishi. I have forwarded this to the dev team for consideration.
