Song Play time display on custom MIDI controller

Hi,

Is there a way for me to get the current song play time value or any other data to display on my controller, please?

On Windows 11

Hi @Slak_Jaw, it is a custom controller using ESP32 displays.

Ah okay. Thanks for clarifying @trenton_carr. I’m pretty sure this cannot be done via the djay MIDI Learn tool and would need to be done in the XML code. I’ll reach out to our hardware team to double check though.

EDIT: I confirmed with engineering. Currently, this needs to be hard coded into djay for each DJ controller so not something you can do with your custom controller.

You’re welcome @trenton_carr. However, perhaps you misunderstood. I did not mean to imply that we would hard code this for your custom MIDI controller. That is not feasible.
