Sound card set to 48 kHz instead of 96kHz

I use a Macbook Air M4 and an RME ADI-2 Pro. It´s all set to 96 KHz in the audio settings. This works perfectly with all software, but when I start djay Pro, it always reverts the sample rate to 48 KHz during the startup process. That’s no big deal, but I’m still a bit confused. Does djay only work with 48 KHz internally?
There are no settings in djay Pro where I can set the sample rate, is that right or am I just to stupid to find that?

Hi @user.jl77, please note that djay does not support manually adjusting the sample rate. The software always attempts to set a sample rate of 44.1 or 48kHz if the audio device supports it. This is done in order to reduce the CPU impact of higher sample rates, since both the range of human hearing and the content of most music files are well covered by a sample rate of 48 kHz. If an audio device only supports 88.2/96/176.4/192 kHz, djay will automatically operate at that higher sample rate to ensure compatibility. I hope that helps!
