sound cutting off using spin 2

im having problems with the spin 2 with MacBook Pro OSX 10.8.5. I am using a pair of usb powered logic computer speakers, plugged them in using an analogue adapter to RCA in the back of the spin 2. i can play it for a few minutes but at some point all the sound is cut from the device (both Headphones and RCA adaptor).

  • Djay works
  • the midi controls still function at work responsively between Spin 2 and Djay app

if i remove the RCA cable adapter from the spin 2 and switch to the macs internal speaker it works.
if i plug my monitor speakers into the mac headphone port it works but obviously a delay between headphone and speakers.

Sorry to hear that. What is your Devices setup in djay? Please open “Preferences” from the “djay” menu and take a screenshot of the “Devices” category.
