Soundcloud account creation issues

Hi all, hoping somebody can give me some assistance

So I’ve decided SoundCloud would be the best for me to utilize Nueralmix in my library after my failed issues with Apple Music

I’ve tried to register for a SoundCloud account and get a constant error message at sign up, see attached/below image
‘Something unexpected happened, please try again’

I’ve tried different Wi-Fi locations, only data no WiFi and numerous browsers but to no avail. Arguably the most frustrating issue is I’ve emailed their customer support three times and had no response in 7 working days to any of my emails

Does anybody have any suggestions on the log in issue I’m getting?

Hi @Cuzer, any chance you are using a VPN? If so, try disabling it first.

Thanks for replying as always

No, no VPN’s at all and tried numerous browsers, even mobile data rather than wifi
I’m on holiday currently, outside the UK so even tried from here and just getting the same error message. To my knowledge I’ve never previously had a soundcloud account to my email address so completely baffled

Also, still no response from their CS

Thanks SJ, I’m going to try logging in through an Apple sign in and see if that gets me anywhere

You would think they would be keen to take money off me but clearly not! :slight_smile:

I wanted Soundcloud for it’s song library and use of NMix in the software, are any of the other options as good? I’m more of a retro DJ so more 80’s/90’s than current, obviously I had the issue with Apple Music so that’s out as I already have that

One other question, I’m upgrading my iPad and want one DJ ready for Buddy Loop controller, I know it’s trivial but Apple list some ipad models as 13" and some as 12.9", the buddy manual states “up to 12.9” is suitable for the controller stand, do you know if the 13" is actually the same size and will fit, also the new Pro is slimmer, presume this is OK to still fit in the iPad stand?

I don’t want to fork out for the new iPad to find it doesn’t fit in the slot provided for obvious reasons

Hi @Cuzer, I checked with our team and unfortunately, we don’t have any 13" iPads to test the fit with the Buddy. I recommend that you reach out to Reloop to see if they know for sure. Thanks!
