Djay keeps telling me that I can’t use SoundCloud go+ as I can’t record from a streaming service. What is the point of using it. This djay app is terrible so far, I have to constantly uninstall it, it’s buggy and about as much use as tits on a fish can anyone suggest a better app that works with Android.
No, of course you can’t record from a streaming service - on any DJ software or hardware.
That isn’t a limitation of djay Pro. It’s the terms and conditions of the streaming service. You’re renting the music. It doesn’t belong to you.
It’s bad style, but I would like to ask a counter question:
Why should the reason for using a service like Sound Cloud Go+ only be the ability to record the mix?
Otherwise, it is of course annoying if the app doesn’t work for you, crashes or always has to be reinstalled. But if you want to get halfway serious about DJing, Android is simply not a suitable platform - regardless of the software you choose.
