How to reproduce the issue:
Just left my gig …….djay let me down …. The program just would not load local files or streaming songs. I feel like I shouldn’t have to go thru all of this…. Hope y’all sort it out. I’m done being a test dummy😡
Hi @Five-0, sorry to hear you experienced this issue, especially at a gig - I know first hand how stressful that is. I was unable to replicate this issue on my end. It sounds like your djay Media Library might be corrupted or something. Have you been using a 3rd party software or anything that may have altered your database?
Can you please upload your djay Media Library database file to your Google Drive/Dropbox, enable sharing permissions, then share a link to here or send it to me in a DM? I’d like to have our engineering team look at your database to see if they can find any issues with it.
a. On iOS you can find the database using the Files app in On My iPhone/iPad>djay>User Data.
b. On macOS it can be found in ~/Music>djay.
c. On Windows it can be found in %HOMEPATH%>Music>djay>djay Media Library.
If you are able to replicate this issue, can you please try to capture a short video of the issue and upload it here? Thanks!
Yes I was very stressed………. . Now the songs that gave me trouble last night are loading this morning. I was using my iPad Pro (11-inch) (4th generation) iOS 18.4 & Rev 5.. I don’t use any other software to organize my music other than Djay.
Strange. Intermittent issues like this can be challenging to troubleshoot. As requested above, can you please send me your database so the team can see if there’s a problem with it?
What file formats were the files that you had issues with?
