Split output in stereo on iPad 1 (no IOS 6) using Djay?

I use Djay on an iPad 1 (=no IOS 6) and it works so far great, but: I need split output. In stereo. I just bought a Beringer uca 222 - it does not work with it. Any ideas? Which tool should I buy or which is the best solution to obtain split output in stereo? Ideally not too expensive.

Pre-cueing with multiple audio devices only works on iOS 6.
