Possible update I use the split output option on my iPad Pro for pre cueing but doing this you lose some sound quality is they any way you could use the headphone jack for you headphones and the lighting port for the main audio

thank you for your mail.
An iOS soundcard which is compatible or a midi controller would grant you the possibility to Pre Cue and send the master out without sound quality loss.
